September 12th Annual Harvest Smorgasbord
11AM – 2PM at the LeClaire Masonic Temple located at 113 S. Cody
Road. Adults $8; children $4. Includes turkey w/ dressing, beef,
ham, 5 vegetables, salads, rolls, desserts, and beverages!
Hosted by the Silver Creek Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.

the LeClaire Civic Center!
This trivia night will benefit the LeClaire Library. Doors
open at 6:30 p.m. with trivia starting at 7 p.m. Participants
may bring beer, wine, snacks and soda. Water and snacks will
also be for sale. Up to eight people per table. $10 per person
with a $50 table minimum. Everyone will be entered into a
drawing for door prizes.

Autumn Market Days in downtown LeClaire is fun for the whole
family with musicians, a craft show (25th and 26th only), live
demonstrations, a library book sale, and much more. Take a
stroll back in time and enjoy the shops, dining, the riverfront,
the museum, and a wonderful day in the historic downtown!

Market Days in Le Claire
- September 24 – 25th (Friday and Saturday) Ocktober Fest
in LeClaire at the southern end of the levee. There will be
barrel rolling, log sawing, a dunk tank, yodeling contest, nail
pounding challenges, mug holding, human wheel barrel racing and
of course Heidi Auf Contest! A traditional Austrian Band is
being flown in for the event being brought from Austria, too!
More information will be appearing around town, soon! Watch for
it!!

Parade and Contest
It's a Parade...It's a Costume Contest....It's Fun for ALL
ages! Please join us in Le Claire, October 30th, for our 7th
Annual Witches Walk. This FREE family event includes a costume
contest, a parade up and down Cody Road, prizes, candy, a
witch's cackle contest, music, face painting, children's games,
pumpkin decorating, a dog costume contest, treat bags, cookies,
hot chocolate and much more!
Dogs are also invited to the Witches Walk festivities for a
costume contest, games and prizes!
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. More information
coming soon.

Year-Round - Bald Eagle,
Pelican & Wildlife Photography & Viewing Opportunities at Lock & Dam 14, LeClaire
Nature photographers and bird watchers will be delighted with
the opportunities at Lock and Dam #14 on the Mississippi River
in LeClaire to capture amazing photos and sightings of Bald
Eagles in the Winter months and Pelicans that call Le Claire
"home" during the Spring and Summer months.
Eagles start to gather around the Lock and Dam on the South
Side of LeClaire as soon as the ice starts forming in December
and stay around through late February and early March. Pelican
start to soar around the skies of LeClaire in mid-March
through the Fall.
